Troubleshooting: QODBC shows errors 11118,11119,11120,11121,11122Problem:I am getting an error "11118 - System License Error." I am getting an error "11119 - RegFile1 License Open Error" I am getting an error "11120 - RegFile1 License Error" I am getting an error "11121 - RegFile2 License Open Error" I am getting an error "11122 - RegFile2 License Error" I am getting an error "unable to open license"
Cause:11118 - System License Error:11118 - System License Error could be due to one of the following reasons: 11119 - RegFile1 License Open Error:11119 - RegFile1 License Open Error could be due to one of the following reasons: 11120 - RegFile1 License Error:11120 - RegFile1 License Error could be due to the following reasons: 1) The license file is corrupted. 11121 - RegFile2 License Open Error:11121 - RegFile2 License Open Error could be due to one of the following reasons: 1) The license file is missing or corrupted. 11122 - RegFile2 License Error:You will get 11122 - RegFile2 License Error due to the following reasons: 1) The license file is corrupted. Solution:If you are getting this issue with MS Office 2013, then you need to refer to the article: QODBC shows RegFile1 License error when using MS Excel 2013 or Access 2013 (Video) If you are getting this issue usually (i.e., Test connection or connection through QODBC Support Wizard), then you need to refer to the below-mentioned article:
Unable to open license:Unable to open the license error could be due to the following reasons: 1) You do not have sufficient permission to access Program Files 2) You do not have sufficient permission to access the Registry 3) You do not have sufficient permission to access the Windows Folder 4). Antivirus or your security tool is blocking QODBC from accessing Program Files or the Windows Registry. Solution:Ensure your antivirus or security tool is blocking QODBC from accessing Program Files orthe Windows Registry. Open the ODBC Data Source Manager in Administrative Mode - Run as Administrator.
