Troubleshooting - How to run QRemote Server as a Service

Problem Description:

I have noticed that when I run the QRemote server on my server if I log out my session the server also shuts down. Is there a way to get the QRemote server to run as a service and not be affected by user activity on the system console?

Solutions:

QODBC uses the QuickBooks SDK, and QuickBooks SDK uses QuickBooks Application to get data from company file.

QuickBooks SDK requires an active desktop session (someone to be logged in) to the machine because QuickBooks is a desktop based application. QODBC & QRemoteServer is not a service based application and is a desktop based windows application cannot be run as a service.

QuickBooks required Active Desktop Session for running. You need to log in to server & run QuickBooks for work with QODBC. If no one logged on the server, you will get the error "Could not start QuickBooks", So I would like to suggest you to that server need Active Desktop Session & QuickBooks in running mode for proper functionality.

Please keep QuickBooks running (No need to log in to the company file, just keep QuickBooks window open) and try to connect.
