[QODBC-ALL] This function requires activation of QODBC Read Write or Server Edition

Troubleshooting: This function requires activation of QODBC Read Write or Server Edition

Problem Description

When I try to run a command in QODBC Test Tool, I get the error message "This function requires QODBC read-write or server version."
I am trying to insert records in QuickBooks.
I already have a Read/Write license for QODBC.
Then why am I getting this error?

Solutions

The error: "This function requires activation of QODBC Read Write or Server Edition (Error #11102)" means you are using a QODBC license that is lower than the QuickBooks you have.

QODBC licensing is not upward compatible, only backward, meaning you would need QODBC License for 2022 to work with QuickBooks 2022.

QODBC license for 2021(treat as Read-Only) can connect to QuickBooks 2022 Enterprise edition, but as your Read/Write or Server edition is lower than the current QuickBooks year, your license is ignored, and QODBC connects as QODBC Read-Only Edition for QuickBooks Enterprise Users.

I have just purchased 2014 version of QODBC ReadWrite or Desktop Edition and I am running 2014 Reckon and I still get this message when I try to update data.

I also have the same problem. QODBC with read and write license activated (confirmed from the about page). But when trying to write to QB Database, it keeps giving me the error that it requires Read Write Version, which I do have.

I'm using the latest QODBC verions 15.00.00.305 with Quickbooks 15.0 R3P
