[QODBC-Desktop] Unrecoverable error when opening QuickBooks after updating to 2012 R14

After updating to QuickBooks 2012 R14, you may encounter Unrecoverable Error XXXXX XXXXX (the codes can appear random) while opening your company file.
Could not open QuickBooks company file after the update.
If you have updated to QuickBooks 2012 R14 and you get an “unrecoverable error” when opening the file:
This should resolve the problem and you will be able to open your company file.
