Troubleshooting: .Net Framework Initialization Error with RDS

Problem Description

     Some people may get a .NET error as below when trying to launch RDS Server/Client after a successful installation of RDS applications:

     RDSServer.exe - ".Net Framework Initialization Error. c:\windows\microsoft.NET\Frameworv.2.0.5727\mscorwks.DLL could not be loaded."

Solutions

Re-install the .NET 2 Runtime

     You could re-install the .NET 2 via below listed links:

Install another RDS Edition

     If the re-installation of .NET 2 Runtime cannot be fixed, try to install the new version of RDS via the link below instead (which is 7.0.0.121)
