VB Demo is missing

Troubleshooting: VB Demo is missing

Problem Description

I have installed QODBC but can't find the VB Demo in the program group of QODBC Driver for QuickBooks. Where can if find VB Demo?

Solution

VB Demo has been replaced by QODBC Test Tool. Please use QODBC Test Tool for SQL statement and connectivity testing.

For QuickBooks Enterprise users:  Please download and install Latest QODBC. QODBC 13.0.0.292 and onwards installer adds all those shortcuts to your start menu

You could search your computer using the keyword "VBDEMO32.EXE".

OR you can easily find the VB Demo from the path mentioned below:

Windows Vista/ Windows 7

C:\Program Files\QODBC Driver for QuickBooks\VBDEMO32.EXE (32-bit OS)

C:\Program Files (x86)\QODBC Driver for QuickBooks\VBDEMO32.EXE (64-bit OS)

Windows XP

C:\Program Files\QODBC Driver for QuickBooks\VBDEMO32.EXE (32-bit OS)

For QuickBooks Enterprise Edition

The VB Demo can be found at the path below:
