Troubleshooting: Cannot Update Invoice in QuickBooks Online Edition - QBOE

Problem Description:

When trying to update the memo field in the table Invoice or InvoiceLine, QODBC reports the error:

[QODBC]Error:1030-Not Support

It is not only in the field memos but also in other fields in the table Invoice and InvoiceLine.

Solution:

There is no InvoiceMod subject in Intuit SDK, meaning QBOE does not support any modification to the Invoice. You may need to update the records in QBOE once it is created.

This limit is not only in the Invoice table. The schema rules in QBOE are different from those in Desktop QuickBooks. Please refer to this article: The Schema Rules Differences Between Local QuickBooks and QBOE, for more information about the differences.

Also, Refer to How to get the table schema For the QuickBooks you are connected to.
