Thank you for the video!
Can you please clarify: why is it necessary to use QRemote with 32bit application, why can't we use QODBC driver right away?
Thanks!

Hi Anna,

I would like to inform you that IIS is a service based application and running in visual studio is desktop base application.
To run Service based application you need to Either use DCOM or QRemote Server.
I would suggest you to use QRemote Server. You need to use QRemote DSN for 32-Bit application "QuickBooks Data QRemote" & for 64-Bit application "QuickBooks Data 64-Bit QRemote".
If you want to setup DCOM Server, I kindly suggest you to refer below article for how to setup DCOM sever:

http://support.flexquarters.com/esupport/index.php?/Default/Knowledgebase/Article/View/2372/0/how-to-setup-qodbc-dcom-server

I would like to inform you that DCOM is an obsolete project and development/bug fixes are no more possible. While QRemote is current project development/bug fixes is possible.

DCOM configuration is tricky & hard, while QRemote configuration is easy.

DCOM is little bit faster than QRemote.
